Outdoor activities are recognised as an important means by which young people can take on adventure challenges and learn to weigh and consider risk, through which they are able to collaborate, to support each other and to measure their achievement against the challenge in front of them rather than through competition against others expectations.

Key Adventures has been running adventurous outdoor activity events for schools, colleges and universities since 1994 with some of our clients returning for 20 years.

Our services can include arrangement of accommodation, catering and transport, though we are usually engaged to provide a programme of activities for groups of up to 120 youngsters with their accompanying adults.

Outdoor Activities For Students Of All Ages

Primary and secondary schools often request a programme of taster sessions of traditional outdoor activities, the most popular being abseiling, ghyll scrambling(aka gorge scrambling), canoeing, rock climbing, hillwalking and raft building, each run by highly experienced and professionally qualified instructors.

Secondary schools often ask for expedition support, navigation as well as the traditional outdoor pursuits. We also develop outdoor team building activities requiring collaboration and cooperation, effective communication and elements of leadership.

What Our Customers Say

I've watched my team go through challenge after challenge over the past four days, each individual has shown me more of their potential than I have seen in years. I don't believe that we can ever accept normal results again; they keep evaluating their performance! They won't stop. What have you done?

Team Performance Development

Thanks for delivering the event for us, and for faithfully converting my vision into reality. Today I have had numerous unsolicited votes of thanks and expressions of delight from members of the QP Group Team. They are not a bunch who are easily impressed, but you succeeded in doing so. You definitely did more than just 'get to the finish line'. Indeed, Robin (CEO) also gave the event a 100% rating. Well done!

The bit that struck a chord with me is that you listened and absorbed what I was looking for, and then went out and delivered it. It is in my experience somewhat rare these days to find a supplier who really does listen to what the client wants - and takes notice of this.
