Contact Key Adventures, Activities & Sports for a teambuilding event proposal

Key Adventures has been designing and delivering outdoor team building events for over 15 years, providing our customers with a bespoke service delivering excellence and value for money.

Team building means different things to different people, ranging from a fun experience to serious intentions of behavioural change. Before writing a proposal, we'll talk with you about your intended outcomes so that our offer is pertinent, focused and offers excellent value.

Typically, though not exclusively, we'll use four different event formats:

  • A series or "round-robin" of outdoor team building exercises, often in the grounds of an hotel or conference centre, though these can also be scattered around the countryside involving the participant teams in navigation between the activity sites. These often include a competitive or collaborative theme running throughout the day.

  • An outdoor journey involving activities and challenges interspersed with al fresco barbecues all amid inspirational scenery ending at or close to your chosen accommodation. Typically lasting for one or two days, for up to 60 participants, we design tasks and activities that interweave so that sub-teams meet, collaborate, re-divide, throughout the day.

  • High impact outdoor challenges in which your team take on a team building task at a specific location, usually involving an outdoor activity developed into a team building or team development exercise.

  • A single outdoor team building activity designed to complement indoor team training, held close to your conference centre or hotel. This format tends to be used to energise the team, break down communications barriers, provide experiential learning in line with training objectives, provide some valuable time together outside normal workplace conditions, enable participants to share an extraordinarily memorable experience.

*All outdoor team building programmes use land, some belonging to the venue, some with open access arrangements, though the type of format available in any particular area does depend on us gaining access, for which a land-use fee may be payable.
