Professional Bodies in the Outdoors

All Key event management staff, team building technicians and outdoor pursuits instructors are professionally qualified. Each sport or discipline has it's own professional body. These bodies lay down a set of criteria by which our outdoor activity instructors, technicians and Event Coordinators are assessed. In addition to these qualifications, all instructors and technicians are monitored and their performance evaluated more or less continually within the day-to-day H&S processes of Key Learning and Leisure Ltd.

Our professional bodies are:

  British Canoe Union

  Mountain Leader Training England

  Mountain Leader Training UK

  Institute for Outdoor Learning

  British Caving Association

There are many more organisations who represent their members and provide training in their particular discipline. Those above represent the majority of disciplines into which our activities fall.
